Putting the “Ma” back into Market
Putting the “Ma” back into Market
My mom got all fired up for her church market this weekend. Within one short week, she’d developed a label called “Nana’s Traditional”, baked hundreds of gingerbread men and ladies, made shortbread, crunchies, chocolate cake and lemon syrup, and also bagged all her snowflake bulbs (all this while babysitting her granddaughter too!).
With everything labelled and beautifully styled, she totally upped the stakes at Fish Hoek Methodist morning market, and sold up a storm. Go, Nana go!

Looks like mom and daughter learn a lot from each other. Way to go Nana!

I am so hungry just looking at her homemade goodness. Will she share her gingerbread man recipe? I am collecting them and trying them out at the moment in preparation for Christmas gift-giving.
