I would hate any of my friends with babies to think I was doing a portrait of them with this illustration of mine for Fair Lady (I just did it for the money!). It illustrates a lighthearted story about reality TV shows, and how their depiction of reality is so different from REAL reality. Click image to see it larger.

You are clever. Quite witty. I posted pics of your mum’s gingerbread recipe as made by me on my blog today. They were a treat. Much tastier and easier to make than a “head chef’s” old-fashioned take that took me hours to roll out. My arms still ache.

TeeHee. Well done for being the featured Etsy seller. I love your cloud pics and wasn’t the sunset just gorgeous.

Very clever! I really do not like reality shows much. I do watch the Apprentice though, even if only to shudder at those interiors …

You crack me up! The only reality show I enjoy is Extreme Makeover: Home Edition because it seems to change everyone involved for the better, from the family who benefits to the contractors who volunteer their services. Anyway, thanks and I love your textiles!

I’ve sent this to my niece, who’s just had a baby girl. She also has a two year old toddler. I hope she’s not too tired to raise a smile! Thank you.

First of all, this is the first comment I have ever left on a blog although I frequent quite a few from time to time. But since I just started a blog myself, i’ve realized how crucial it is to have comments. Granted , I’m only a few days into it so hopefully things will pick up eventually. Just wanted to tell you how much I adore all that you make. I’m a mom of two toddler boys so this latest illustration spoke volumes of truth. Anyhoo, thanks for the beautiful inspiration!!

I’m about 18 years past this particular moment, but it brought back memories. Thanks for the laugh and the reminder that having a new college student is tough… but not that tough!
