Nothing yet, but soon…
I’m way ahead of myself posting about this project, as I’ve only just begun and the way I keep running out of time on everything else, I can see it might take forever to complete.
Anyway, what it is now is a bunch of small, cheap cotton rugs from Ackermans, and what it will become, once I’ve chopped them up and sewn them back together, is a super-stylish patchwork carpet for my studio floor to keep my footsies warm in the winter. It might also just become a dusty pile of hacked up rugs, abandoned in the corner. Watch this space…
Oh, and Happy Birthday to my brother Athol! I hope you’re having a lovely Australian Day! xxoooxxxooo

Nice idea!! Are you going to line it with something? Or am I way ahead too?
I love it when an item meant for one purpose end up as absolutely perfect for something completely differt.

are we voting? i vote for finished beautiful rug for studio space. but know that if it was at my house, the hacked up pile of rugs would be more like it.

Ooh, when I read this I immediately thought “I wonder if Heather is making something like this” featured on Nina’s blog, but then of course you said a rug for the studio, which will be fab I’ve no doubt. Still, if you had any spare bits…?
