Wild beasts
Wild beasts
I found these terrifying wild animals at Heartworks, just up the road from me. You can tell they’re rough and touch, cos they wear pullovers, not cardigans, so watch out!
They were knitted by a project in Zimbabwe, but there’s no swingtag, so I can’t tell you anything more about them, except that if you want some, you’d better hurry up Kloof Street. I bought them intending to ship ’em off to my global crew of neices, but they’re starting to look awfully comfortable on our bed…
PS: In terms of my nasty shock from the cotton mill (see previous post) I’m working hard at coming up with a plan B. There are other mills and other sources, and I’m a resourceful gal, so watch this space. Thanks for all the supportive comment, guys!

Your little Australian neices would love some safari animals but would be very understanding if they decided they enjoyed your flat more than a cramped trip across the ocean.

Cute animals.

When I was last at HW, there was a rather charming warthog in a sweater– hopefully he's still there, so I can pick one up for my niece. -X
