Spooky fabric geeky stuff
Spooky fabric geeky stuff
On the very day I received this lovely vintage cushion in a design called ‘Coppice‘, by British designer Mary White, my email friend Kasja, from design team HAPPYsthlm, thought to send me the link to Stig Lindberg’s Bulbous design (below).
Now is that freakily coincidental, or what?. Maybe it just seems that way to a fabric geek like me, but I suspect there are a few others of my ilk reading this, so enjoy sharing an open-jawed, head-shaking moment of disbelief with me and my cat, will ya?
Now for the all-important details: I got my Mary White cushion from Jane Foster’s lovely shop (lots more cushions here), and she also sent along one of her gorgeous Doves in Love screenprints! I went to her site intending to buy a print, but the cushion cover stole my heart, so now I’m extra lucky to have both. Thanks, Jane!
And thanks for the Stig moment, Kasja.

Love the Mary White cushion and also the green one behind it, I've just got hold of some similar fabric in blue that is vintage and been making covers from that.
orange you lucky!
