The Fringe Arts
The Spier Contemporary 2010 is now open, and for the first time, this art biennale is taking place in the Cape Town City Hall, which is looking so spiffy these days!
I’m delighted to have had some of my things selected to be sold in The Fringe Arts shop at Spier Contemporary. I visited the shop the other day, and spotted lots of lovely things, ranging from jewellery, to refurbished furniture, ceramics and limited edition prints and artworks too.
Visit the Spier Contemporary 2010 exhibition over the Easter weekend – entry is free – and pop into The Fringe Arts shop too. Just turn right after going in the main City Hall entrance, and carry on to the end, where there’s a coffee shop too.

Looks like a shop I’d like to visit and stay longer than would make the clerk comfortable.

That clerk is tougher than she looks. Any trouble from you and she’d scoot you out of there chop chop with her dark looks and mutterings. xx
