A world of letterpress – from Planet Press
I’m sick, but my devotion to my blog is such that I’ve crawled out of bed (kind of) to tell you that some time ago a guy called Jeremy, who owns a large litho company, got in touch with me to talk about the letterpress cards I’d done in collaboration with Satsuma Press. Jeremy had got hold of a Heidelberg Platen Press and had started a little side business called Planet Press to tickle his passion for letterpress printing.
So Jesse and I submitted some designs, and on Tuesday a very proud Jeremy presented us with the our designs beautifully printed by Planet Press. They really are hot off the press, and we both only took away enough to take some pics, so here’s a sneak peek, and then hop over to Jesse’s blog to see hers too.
Congrats to Jeremy for getting this going, and I’m looking forward to lots more from Planet Press. Both Jesse and I will have our cards for sale online and around Cape Town soon, so keep an eye out. Now, back to bed for me.

I love their story! Going from large to small… now there’s a novel idea. And pretty cards, too. Of course, I’m partial to yours and Jesse’s.

The green flower one is my top favourite. Letterpress is such a nice form of print, I bet you’re very pleased. Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks, Helen. I like the green one too 🙂 Being sick has been fun – lots of catching up with blogs, ignoring mails, and watching Mad Men and 30 Rock on DVD. Have a lovely weekend. xx

Gorgeous cards! I like the blue bird.
Hope Planet Press keeps at it.
Sorry you’re not well but 30 Rock – woot woot! Take it easy and get better soon.
