Get the Sack
This Herds shopping sack (also known as The Alexander Sack*) is one seriously big, sturdy tote. The groceries pictured in this shot don’t even fill it up. In fact, thinking about it now, all the gaps left by this shopping should be filled with leafy greens and fruit!

*Alexander Sack – named in honour of my friend Robyn Alexander who insisted I base a bag pattern on one she’d had in her family for decades. Thanks, Robyn!

The important thing about big shopping bags is strength. I see the straps go all the way to the base, Do they loop under the base of the bag to give it extra strength?
Carrying your shopping in a cloth bag like this would set you apart at the shopping centre. It shouts – not only am I environmentally conscious, I am aesthetically astute.

I love this so much I bought one! Can’t wait to get my hands on it! Thanks.

Fantastic! I know you’ll find it hugely useful, for shopping, beach going, picnic toting, and more. Enjoy!

Now that is a functional tote! And how good would my shopping look in that when I am lugging it back home from our local supermarket!
hmmm
Okay, now I have seen that box of rooibos tea I am off to make a cup. I never drank tea before I stumbled across an iced jug of this wonderful tea in a funky noodle bar in Japan one day (yes in the land of green tea!) now it is one of my favourite beverages!
