Yoyogi Park fabric… on your phone?
I’ve had the sampling for my latest quilting collection for Cloud9 Fabrics for a few weeks, called Yoyogi Park, which is inspired by my trip to Tokyo last year.
It’s gorgeous (if I say so myself), and can be found and explored on the Cloud9 Fabrics site.
Particularly exciting about this collection, is the addition to the lightweight organic quilting cotton, is a lovely heavy canvas, in a variation of one of the prints. The potential!
The reason I haven’t said more about this collection yet is that I wanted to sew up some things first, to show the fabrics in use. But it’s been so crazy at the studio that I STILL just have the delicious pile of sampling just sitting on my workbench! Ack!
So, until I have more sewing time, I’m going in a whole different direction, and instead of showing off the designs on fabric goodies, we have… cellphone covers! In all the Yoyogi Park prints!
Head off to my Skinny laMinx Sketchbook store on Nuvango to order yours. Just about every model of smartphone gets a look-in there. And (ahem) actual fabric goods to follow shortly, promise!

Oh, I’m so glad the little feathers made the cut! I remember seeing your sketches of them! Plus yay for canvas!
