Skinnylaminxenstein: Planning with moodboards
Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, newsletters, blogs… there are so many messages that we put out there every week, and making sure that all these communication channels tell the same story requires a ton of good planning. I thought I’d get practical in this Skinnylaminxenstein post, and share our planning trick for integrating all these communications:
We send out a weekly colour-and-product mood board (like this one) to everyone in the team, and then all week, everyone in the business refers to the same the moodboard, using it to help decide how to style the shop, what we put on Pinterest, which products to promote on Facebook (etc etc). It’s sooooo useful!
And now our brand new website brings all this planning together, with our WE LOVE section, where we get to highlight our product and colour focus for the week in one inspiring place.
