Meet Barbara Pettignano

We’re all over the world this week! Heather is in New York City doing the NYNOW trade show , and Donna is in Frankfurt with our European distributor, Barbara Pettignano, where they are doing the Ambiente Trade Show.

Barbara is so great to work with, not least because she speaks 4 languages fluently, which means that she’s perfectly at ease handling our wholesale orders from all over Europe. She’s also lots of fun, so she and Donna are having a blast!

Where do you live?

I live in the center of Bologna, Italy. I have a design store there too, called Haus 269.

How do you like to spend your free time?

Real relax is travelling, but as I don’t have so much time, I relax by reading a lot.

What’s your favourite meal?

Given that the best food is Italian….In Germany I eat Sauerkraut, Sauerbraten and potatoes.

Apart from Skinny laMinx, which other brands do you love?

Other brands I love are connected mostly with the table and the kitchen, especially iittala and bodum. Also I love Hay from Denmark.
