Eureka!

This illustration appears as a DPS in the January issue of Fairlady magazine. The article features eight South African inventors and my brief was to show each person with their invention, combining photos and illustration.I used deep-etched photos of each inventor, drew each invention in Illustrator, and then added in scanned equation scribbles and graph paper.
I’m not entirely convinced that it works, but I learned lots of new stuff about Illustrator and Photoshop, and the client liked it a lot (which is what counts, right?).
