Obrigado, Obrigado.
I was yakking with my hairdresser on Friday (doll!), talking about the time it takes to get a business to become successful. He was saying it’s impossible to expect overnight success… and we both finished his sentence with “…except for Vida!”.
Vida e Caffe is a coffee shop on Kloof St that has been phenominally successful since its fairly recent start, opening branches all over the country, serving coffee and cool in equal dollops. One of the nice things they do is make a stylish free Vida magazine called Obrigado.
Jesse and I ended up in this issue, with a very nice article about (as Jesse puts it so well) “craft, art, and the distance in between”.
Jesse has uploaded a copy of the article in a readable format at her blog and you can click here to read it.

I love that! Congrats on all your successes lately, by the way, and thanks for all your sweet comments. Again, I find you rocking my face off 🙂

Hi Heather!
I read that article in Obrigado this weekend! Well done on a really lovely, and well-deserved, mention!
I hope all is well with you! I can hardly believe that it’s already been almost two months since I left Strika. I have every intention of popping down to the market one Saturday soon and I really hope that I get to see you.
Keep well
Kirby
