What cute socks. I would have found it hard to cut up. But that monkey made it worth it. Good luck with the floods. We were flooded last year – lost our car – and a container ship was blown onto one of our beaches. Be sure to get some large plastic boxes with lids to float your precious things in if need be. I’ll cross my fingers for you. Good Luck.
