This is one of those things you do, just because you want to do it. The results are not spectacular, but the process is enjoyable:
I cut the two images on the outer edges of this bunch from matt black vinyl, and stuck them onto card. Often the negative shapes that are left behind from cutting are quite nice, so I took the negative shapes left over from each to make the cards next to them. The central image is made with whatever was left over shapes from both of the first images.
I’ve been thinking about accountancy lately, and maybe this is a kind of visual version of credits and debits.

This certainly looks like fun! And although all the images are part of each other, each one is unique and something special…kind of like us humans as well. Sorry if I’m not making sense… I’ve been sitting at my desk for over 8 hours. Where do you buy the black vinyl?

I like your response! And yes, I know that at-the-desk feeling. I get my vinyl from Maizey Plastics in Paarden Eiland.

I love the cut-outs as well… they are so much fun to play with. I actually have made quite a few unintentional stamp designs from the cut-offs of more intentional ones.
