I know it’s October, but…
Yup, folks. It’s that time of year, I’m afraid, when the retailers start going meshugenah over Christmas, and I’m no exception. In fact, I’m quite excited to actually have some seasonally apt goods for a change!
Apart from the gift tags and litho printed postcards I recently listed, I also have some super-sweet lasercut birch ply tree decorations, as well as wrapping paper in three new geometric prints (watch this space for more on those). Check it out:
Clockwise, L-R:
- Set of 3 Eep! tree decorations, lasercut from birch ply. In US$ here, and in ZAR here.
- Set of 3 Baubles tree decorations, lasercut from birch ply. In US$ here, and in ZAR here.
- Gift tags, lasercut from patternmaker’s card. In US$ here, and in ZAR here.
- Pack of three sheets of giftwrap. In US$ here, and in ZAR here.
Ho ho ho, everybody!

Hi Heather! I loved your last post about your team, it’s so great to hear more about how other creative businesses work. : ) any chance of a day in the life, or a week in the life post? Thanks for your blog, it’s been a really nice regular read over the years. : )

Thanks, Kate! Great idea on the day in the life, but right now my days are too frantic to be documenting them. So I dug up a VERY old day-in-the-life I did for Design for Mankind a while back. See http://www.designformankind.com/2008/10/the-dailies-heather-from-skinny-laminx/. There are also a couple more interviews at http://www.skinnylaminx.info/press/categories/interviews/ if you’re interested.xx

Thanks Heather! I really appreciate the time you took out if your day to add those links. : ) I enjoyed the design for mankind one, thank you! And I’m really looking forward to reading through the rest over the weekend. It’s been so lovely of you to invite us in to your creative journey over the years. : )

Excellent use of Yiddish, esp in reference to Christmas! Love it & not what I would expect from South Africa 🙂
