Making Friday: 8 Feb 2013
This was a brief and mucky experiment with a large piece of card, some inappropriate printing ink (fabric paint, actually), a roller and a stencil cut from brown paper. All round, the materials chosen were poor, but I had the urge and was willing to risk a mess, which is very much in the spirit of Making Friday, after all.
PS: In case you’re wondering, it’s supposed to be a portrait of one of the succulent plants I appear to have grown a bit crazy about. I quite like the blocky inky shapes that the roller has made of what were supposed to be spikes.

I think this print is great, it needed no explanation. Those plants were begging to be portrait subjects!!!

I think this is amazing! Sometimes the best things are created by accidents. Would be perfect on a tea towel.

Love this Heather. This could be a whole new range. Hope you did some more! Good luck for the launch. A fitting and exciting direction. Tracy x
