Sandwiches

I have two more illustrations in the December issue of Fairlady magazine.

These are for an article on the “sandwich generation” – women who find themselves emotionally and financially squeezed by demands from their aging parents and dependent children. Yikes!

… and this “sandwich recipe” appeared on a following page.

Both made with cut vinyl, then scanned and finished in Photoshop. I think they turned out fine, but perhaps could have done with a bit more texture and surface interaction. Perhaps using thickish paper rather than vinyl would have done the trick. Next time…
