My Making Friday rule has become a little more flexible lately, largely because my ceramics class is on a Monday morning, and also because my back pain has caused me to take steps to spend more time away from the computer. So there’s a lot MORE MAKING going on, but not necessarily on a Friday, …

Making Friday – November 20
I started an otherwise desultory day in the studio by bringing a bunch of my linocutting offcuts briefly to life. Find more of my doodles and sketches on my #HeatherMooreSketchbook tumblr page. Have a happy weekend!

I’m elsewhere
I’ve really been battling with my back lately. It seems that every time I put myself in front of the computer, whether seated or standing, my back clenches in a most uncomfortable way. So I’ve decided to take the hint and I’ll be stepping away from the machine for a bit. Actually, I’m quite grateful for the …

Making Friday: Light dots
Sometimes, when you’re at your desk, pen poised, but not sure what you want to do, you’ve just got to use what you’ve got. On Friday, what I had was a scattering of of light coming through the blinds onto my drawing pad. It’s all about making a start, and it may not result in …
