Patch, patch, patch
Patch, patch, patch
Remember the patched together bits of fabric I posted about last week? Well, that post resulted in a whole lot more patching for me!
After reading my post, Julie suggested I enlarge it into a 3.50 x 1.50m patched curtain to screen off her upstairs renovation (see pics of the space here).
So after a weekend of determined patching in my studio (to a soundtrack of Laura Veirs, Epic45, Vetiver and Fleet Foxes), I’m ironing it one final time before sending it off to Denmark to arrive in time for Julie’s housewarming party at the end of the month!
It’s enormous!

It’s gorrrrrrrgeous! Truly. How fortunate the recipient is!!! And I must’ve been channeling you because yesterday I sketched out a plan for a quilt that looks similar to this- whites with flashes of bold color. I can only hope mine is half as lovely as yours (if it ever gets made!) It certainly won’t be this big.
