Tagged… actually, bagged!
Oy, I’ve been tagged again, this time by LulaCat (bad cat!). I have to tell you six quirks about moi, but I’m reaaaally not quirky, so instead, here’s 11 things I found in my gorgeous Bookhou handbag:
1. My daily TO DO list book. It’s a tyrant!
2. A rough drawing that’s about to be turned into a horoscope illustration at the studio.
3. A little change purse printed by Jesse.
4. A rather grubby purse with my Monsters print (full of money to pay cutters, printers, etc)
5. Fancy phone that can do lots of things, including make calls
6. Notes about colours for my new transfers (more on those soon)
7. Businesscards in my marvellous Muji card holder
8. Bodyshop lippie
9. Pen (so it was in my bag after all!!)
10. Memory stick
11. Matches from the Planet Bar (thrilled they were in there – makes me look like such a hip late-nighter!)
And the furry mouse (top left) is just checking things out. I don’t keep a furry mouse in my handbag – then I would have something to put in a list of quirks, wouldn’t I?
Shall I tag someone else to show their handbag contents? Let’s see… How about you, Adri!

This was fun. I’m glad you didn’t pick me, because besides wallet and pen I have a few loose Cheerios (oat cereal my baby likes to eat), an empty pack of gum and some crumbled up bits of paper that I promised myself I’d get in the trash. My desk is a lot more exciting these days.

How orderly and fun your handbag contents are – I like the photo too. And your ceramic transfers are so cool – I want to find out how to do this!

Question? Not regarding this post. The black adhesive vinyl (vinyl) you use a lot, as well as that sticker paper…what do you call it when you order it? I’m sure you buy in Cape Town, but I was looking to see if I could make some here….It would be a fun project for kids, not small ones, but older ones?
Just wondering, if you are willing to answer!
I put the birds on some plain IKEA glass frames and put them in the window. I took off a photo of them on the bed, but haven’t posted yet. They are cute.
These would be great for scrapbookers, a club to which I don’t belong.

Stephanie: I have a tutorial on the transfers at http://thinkteam.co.za/skinnylaminx/2008/06/ceramics-transfers-tutorial.html. Really, it’s very easy to do!
Joyce: I get my adhesive vinyl from http://www.maizey.co.za/content/view/18/200/ in cape town. Check out the terminology they use, and I’m sure you’ll find a local supplier who can help. This is a big company, but they sell by the metre to little people like this.
Looking forward to seeing how you used the birds – sounds cute!
