A spot of humble pie for me, thanks.
Elsewhere there’s been a bit of a storm in a teacup about the SA blog awards, very aptly analysed by another Heather, which you can read about here and here. Over here, it seems the storm is in a coffee cup instead, with a slice of humble pie on the side.
You see, one of the prizes I neglected to mention in my moany groany post on Monday was the R250 voucher from Yuppiechef. Turns out that to be a yuppie chef will cost considerably more than R250, but with a matching grant from my bank account, I scored the rather nice ceramic coffee plunger you see in the pic above. Nice prize!
And, more importantly, the kitties love the hacky sacks.
Pattern and Perspective
You should slice into the hackysack and fill with cat nip and then sew it again. They would have even more love for these hackysacks:) Your black cat looks like mine — I swear all black cats look the same. Green eyes, etc.

Actually, my kitty is brown, and her eyes are golden. Subtle, but essential (esp as a bad black cat keeps trying to invade our place).

It trips me out every time you post a picture of your kitty! The brown and golden eyes, spitting image of my Bobby. Tell him his cousin in the states says hello.

Well, I suppose its like Christmas presents ~ the best ones are often the ones you chose yourself with gift vouchers. Love the very clever ceramic plunger 🙂

see you have changed the cushions on the couch in the background – more of a blue/green thing going on? or am i just behind the times?
