it got me thinking about all the plant-filled, botanical-themed, and frankly junglicious apartments and homes I’ve spotted around the web, so I hunted down a few of my favourites for your inspiration:
Blogger and designer Justina Blakeney loves an indoor plant so much, she even calls her home The Jungalow!
Take the Jungalow tour, with pics by Dabito.
Talk about green with envy! This pic leaves me with no doubt about the bona fides of the green fingers belonging to Brisbane artist Hayley West, featured in The Planthunter, with photos by Daniel Shipp.
(I can only dream of my string of pearls succulent ending up so luscious, but if you’ve got yours going and need to hang it up, do check out my hanging garden tutorial.)
That magnificent palm is excuse enough for me to include a not particularly plant-y home, but possibly my favourite apartment ever – the home of Anita Calero, featured in LoftLife Magazine.
Another favourite place (and one that must have a large Band Aid budget) is the cactus-filled home of Maurizio Zucchi, with pics from Elle Korea.
Don’t despair if you can’t even keep a cactus alive. You can still have a jungle in your home, by papering the rooms in this gorgeous Palm Jungle wallpaper from Cole & Son.
Wait! Back up a little.
Enjoyed that? “Leaf” you wanting more? Check out my Planty Inspiration board on Pinterest for LOTS more planty bizness. Just be careful and don’t so lost in planty fascination on the Internet that you forget to water your very own houseplants (but not too much).
