Collaboration with VISI
It took me a while to slow down and look properly at the mid-century mosaic mural on the public bathrooms on the Sea Point Promenade (read more here), but I’m so glad I did, because it’s become part of my life in ways I might not have ever considered.
For instance, I was inspired to start a needlepoint in that design, and also … to design and produce a very limited edition knitted blanket for VISI magazine.
Produced in a limited run of just 21 units, the Promenade throw is available exclusively in black and white via the new VISI online portal.
UPDATE: The throws were a massive hit, selling out in three days and ending up on the pages of Elle Decoration France (above).
News soon followed via Instagram of the throws being immediately appreciated by fellow Sea Point-lovers, like this little cutie, belonging to @miafeinstein.

Thanks for your query. We had planned to make more, and then Lockdown hit, and all our plans had to be scaled right back, as they’re very expensive to produce.
But if things keep looking up, we may well make more.
