Bah! I am having a multiple tech fail while on our US trip, and can’t get my photos onto my blog (sooo frustrating!) So, if you’d like to see what I’m doing while in NYC, San Francisco and Portland, keep an eye on the pics section of my Twitter feed, where I’ll be enthusing about …

USA trip – first leg: NYC
First stop on our 3 week trip to the US (starting on Wednesday) is New York City. Woo hoo! So excited to return there after the six amazing weeks we spent there last May, on Paul’s Ampersand Fellowship. Now we’re returning for something even more exciting – Paul’s debut US show at RH Gallery, opening …

USA trip – 2nd leg: San Francisco
After our week in NYC, Paul and I will be heading for San Francisco. Paul’s mum lived on the West Coast when she was a child (she saw Elvis performing on her 13th birthday), so apart from the fact that it looks like an amazing part of the world to visit, it has a bit …

A glamorous couple of minutes
Easily the most glamorous single event of my life was on our last day in NYC, when a very tall and handsome photographer called Misha and I went up to the top floor of our apartment in Tribeca and got shots of me looking what I like to think of as a sophisticated mix of …

More about that bunting
Offcuts of my Orla print always seem to abound, and I’vefinally found a great use for them. Cut into circles, pinked around the edges, then sewn together with ribbon on either end, ironed out, and bingo! Those offcuts magically become lovely Christmassy bunting. I’ve made about twelve 1.5 metre lengths, and have packaged them rather …
