I’ve been playing around with paint samples for ages. Who can resist those hardware store displays of glorious colour swatches that you can help yourself to? Not me, that’s for sure.
The post below this shows Bamboo from the first Drawing Room show, and below this note, I’ve posted two of my other paint sample cutouts. The paint sample patchwork above wasn’t my idea – I copied it from something similar my friend Marion made one day.
Dawn Bokkie – paint samples and cut woodgrain vinyl.
Dandelion – paint sample and cut paper.

Your work is absolutely gorgeous! Is there anywhere to purchase it online currently?

Thanks for the kind words.
I do show some of my work at the online gallery at http://www.whatiftheworld.com. There’s a black and white silkscreen of birds currently for sale there, and occasionally I show other images there too.
I’m looking into making more work available online, and will let you know about it on my blog.
Thanks again,

Hi Heather
How spooky..I was doing some paint swatch pieces a couple of years ago.
I love the deer (is it a deer?) one.
Great work.
